The Link magazine goes carbon-balanced
Speech & Language Link are keen to support the environment and this summer, we researched how to reduce the carbon footprint of our biggest printed resource, The Link magazine. Although already fully recyclable we wanted to see how we could make the 22,000+ copies that we send to all UK SENCos more environmentally friendly.
The result? The latest issue of The Link magazine has been printed on carbon-balanced paper, ensuring that new trees are planted for every tree used in the paper-making process.
The feedback from our readers has been really positive – the award-winning publication still offers schools clear, accessible information, advice and strategies on supporting speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), but we can now boast the carbon-balanced logo as a part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the environment.
