Speech & Language Link is pleased to announce that Secondary Language Link is a finalist in the Teach Secondary Awards 2023 in the SEND category.

What is Secondary Language Link?

Secondary Language Link extends the Speech & Language Link whole-school approach to speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) into KS3. Created by our speech and language therapists, and building on the award-winning primary packages, Secondary Language Link includes a standardised assessment of the understanding of language, praised for its real-world focus. Also included are comprehensive resources and video guidance for delivering engaging and interactive functional communication and core language interventions. An online teacher training module and materials for working with parents round off the package, bringing joined-up thinking to secondary SLCN.
