Our teams supporting your team

Multimedia Team

The multidisciplinary teams are part of what makes working here exciting. One day our therapists may be working with the Development team to capture a decision tree for speech sound support, the next with our Psychometrician (a joint appointment with the University of Cambridge Psychometrics Centre) to design a standardisation or efficacy study. Our Media team may be in a nursery capturing video footage to illustrate interventions for our new Little Link package and Business Operations working with the Help Desk and Development teams to refine our data protocols. We do all this in order to do one thing well – to help schools support children with speech, language and communication needs.

Speech and Language Therapy team

We write all the assessments, interventions and the training tools. We also deliver all the training, work on research projects, write articles, script and appear in videos, present podcasts and of course support our wonderful customers on the help desk. No wonder we are an expanding busy team! With over 100 years of clinical experience between us we are passionate about supporting you to help children overcome their speech and language challenges. In our downtime we enjoy a range of arts and crafts, learning languages and running ultra marathons.

The Help Desk Team

The Help Desk is your first point of contact at Speech & Language Link. Our friendly team all have experience working in schools and other settings with children and young people. We can promise you a real person at the end of the phone or email, that understands the school environment and is here to help. Whether you have an SLCN question, need website support, want to ask about your subscription or just need to know where to find a resource, we look forward to hearing from you.

Development Team

The development team are a geeky bunch of people who enjoy the most technical of challenges. We design, build and maintain all of the software applications and services needed to support our customers. We are always striving to improve our products so that they can better suit the needs of our customers in the most efficient and secure ways. When we are not getting lost in the code, we like a bit of gaming and have a former world champ E sportsman in our midst.

Media Team

We are a dedicated creative group of video editors, motion graphics designers and illustrators. We produce what you see and interact with in the training tools, the resources you use to support students and all our video information content. We love experimenting with new techniques and creating exciting visual images. Basically, if it moves we have created it! Our hobbies include photography, film and of course drawing.

Business Operations Team

The operations team make the lives of each team at Speech & Language Link easier by providing support in projects, accounts, including payroll (which always brings a smile) and any kind of analysis. We love a spreadsheet, and we’re happy to get stuck in. Outside of work, you can find us going for walks, reading, attending concerts or shows, and watching any kind of sport.

The Marketing Team

Our dynamic team creates exciting content for our website, social media and events and conferences. Words are our ‘thing’ and we strive to make our blogs, articles and key information about our products informative, accessible and relevant for educators. When we’re not at work our individual pursuits ensure the creativity continues by running flower crown workshops, crafting candles and (trying) to write a children’s book. We love creating something new!
