We are finalists in the Teach Primary and Teach Secondary Awards
We are so pleased to announce that we are finalists for not one, but three awards for Teach Primary and Teach Secondary this year. The Link Live 2023, Junior Language Link and Secondary Language Link are finalists in this year’s Teach Co. awards.
The Link Live 2023 – Our CPD-accredited speech and language online conference has been shortlisted in the CPD category for Teach Primary Awards. This March 2023, we hosted many eminent speakers such as Mushy Asghar from Channel 4’s Education Yorkshire, Professor Courtenay Norbury from University College London, and back by popular demand, occupational therapist Kim Griffin. The day was dedicated to conversation, inspiration and innovation. Hosted by speech and language therapists, presented by education specialists, and driven by you.

Finally, Secondary Language Link has been shortlisted for the Teach Secondary Award for the SEND category. Secondary Language Link extends the Speech and Language Link whole-school approach to speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) into KS3. Created by our speech and language therapists, and building on the award-winning primary packages, Secondary Language Link includes a standardised assessment of the understanding of language, praised for its real world focus. Also included are comprehensive resources and video guidance for delivering engaging and interactive functional communication and core language interventions. An online teacher training module and materials for working with parents round off the package, bringing joined-up thinking to secondary SLCN.
