Our aim

Is to improve speech and language outcomes for all students. We believe boosting speech, language and communication skills will lead to increased life chances.

We achieve this by:

  • empowering schools to identify students’ needs and provide intervention at the right level at the right time.
  • delivering high quality training for school staff.
  • providing a wealth of free resources for use in classrooms.
  • contributing to UK research on SLCN.
  • working to increase everyone’s knowledge and awareness of SLCN through our magazines, networks, forums.
  • never sitting back and resting on our laurels. We strive to continue improving and refining our tools based on customer feedback.

Our values

We are:

Collaborators – we work closely both within our company teams and with our schools, MATs, LEAs, ICBs and local SaLT services. We believe that by pulling together and respecting all voices we will achieve better outcomes for all.

Inclusive – we believe everyone should have access to the right support at the right time. Our tools offer tiered level support for our students and within our company we consider every voice and perspective during our development. We are open about our development process and regularly review and adapt our policies.

Listeners – we work tirelessly to improve our tools based on feedback from stakeholders. All our staff are continually learning and striving to improve.

Trusted – we are not the new kids on the block. We have been working in this field for over 20 years and are fortunate to be trusted by over 25% of the schools throughout the UK. This allows us to invest in continual R&D to improve our services and develop new products.

Passionate – We are a little bit obsessed with all things speech and language. That’s why we place value on staff development at all levels of our organisation.

Family friendly – Our company was originally founded by a husband and wife team with a new baby. That’s why we support family friendly working practices throughout our teams.
